Rare sighting

Rarely spotted in the sub-continent! We didn't see any until we'd been in India for 2 months.

They were almost as rare as clean toilets which took us nearly 3 months to find, apart from those that Fiona cleaned herself. She became fiercely protective and wouldn't let anyone who looked likely to be harbouring a manky mop or clarty cloth anywhere near them.

You inspire. I always say age makes one more cautious. Nice to see it hasn't had that effect on you! Conquer the world. Wish I was with you.

It's amazing us the connections we're making as we travel, in many different ways. Thank you for your inspiring message out of the blue!

We have definitely become far less cautious as the years have gone by. It comes of gaining confidence as we grow older combined with the realisation that life is pretty damned short so no point in being too timid!

It's particularly moving to get such a message from someone who is obviously doing such a tough job - we admire you for what you're doing - may you conquer your world too!! More power to your elbow.
