For several days we were attendees at this Ashram, known as "Kaivalyadhama - An Institute For Scientific & Philosophical Research, Training and Treatment In Yoga". The yoga classes were reasonably good (although we weren't happy at being separated, on most occasions, into separate male & female classes - we're beginning to feel that there's a conspiracy afoot) but we didn't fancy the treatments on offer at all! Purgation & vomiting were what we were trying to avoid in India! Less drastic treatments such as a jacuzzi or face pack or massage were offered under the guise of naturopathy but were again segregated & anyway, we can pop to a spa at home any time. We did enjoy the food, the gardens were lovely for lazing about & we could buy Cadbury's chocolate from the little shop - very therapeutic!
